Sin City: An Iconic New York Venue<\/h2>\n

Opened in 2003, Sin City quickly became a hub for nightlife in the South Bronx, attracting celebrities and athletes alike. Gus Drakopoulos describes it as a place that “went down in history alongside other iconic venues such as Studio 54, Palladium, the Tunnel, Limelight in the gentlemen’s club space, patronized by celebrities and athletes alike, featured in many videos and movies.” The club saw performances and visits from notables like Cardi B, who danced there for three years, and French Montana, who shot one of his very first music videos at the venue.<\/p>\n

Sin City was frequented by a host of celebrities such as Fat Joe, 50 Cent, Susan Sarandon, Jamie Foxx, Mike Tyson, Puff Daddy, Mary J. Blige, and many others. It wasn’t just celebrities; athletes like Odell Beckham and teams such as the New York Giants, New York Jets, and the Knicks made Sin City their preferred venue in New York. It became a pivotal place for music executives and major liquor brands to introduce new products, solidifying its status as a cultural hotspot before its closure in 2017 due to the gentrification of the South Bronx. <\/p>\n

Show Palace: Pioneering Adult Entertainment<\/h2>\n

Show Palace, opened in 2011 in Long Island City, originally faced numerous challenges from local regulations. Unable to secure a liquor license, Gus used his innovative spirit to rebrand it effectively to Show Palace, creating New York City’s first 18 and over, fully nude, non-alcoholic club. Despite the obstacles, it has become one of the most successful adult nightclubs in the city, hosting anywhere from 80 to 100 girls on a nightly basis on the weekends, from all types of backgrounds.<\/span><\/p>\n
